This months layout workshop is "The Story of Today".
I have been wanting to use the La Vie En Rose paper for so long, but something else always seems to come up. Now I am in limbo of old and new paper, so here it is.
Today's "Flower Market" layout is not flowery at all. When I was making my first layout with the sunflowers, I also put some little white flowers on it. As I was making it, I thought, "these look a lot like popcorn".... And so we have today's layout "MOVIE NIGHT".
I told you in Chapter 1 that this is my favorite cricut cartridge CTMH has released so far, and it's not just the flowers I love, it is also the sentiments included and especially the font!! I love the font I have used on this layout!
Another day, another "Flower Market" layout! This one is a flowery spring theme. I love how simple (yet detailed) this one turned out. I know the picture looks like it is on white cardstock but it is actually on a pin striped B&T paper.
CTMH has released a NEW Cricut cartridge... FLOWER MARKET!! And I LOVE it!! This is (and I'm not just saying this) my favorite cartridge EVER!!
When I first heard the name, Flower Market, I didn't think I would love it as much as I do. I thought... Flowers, really?!?!
Yes, flowers really!! This is such a great cartridge!! Once I started working with it, I fell in love!
So here is my first project using the new cartridge...
For this months workshop, we used The Florence paper and compliments. In this workshop we created (3) 2 page layouts and (4) cards.
The first layout was "Unique".
We also used the Rose Gold foil tape on this layout!! I love this foil tape, it adds so much to your layouts or cards.
The second layout was "Brilliant You".
The accents on this layout are the Rose Gold foil tape and the adhesive sequins.
The third layout is "Glow".
I "lifted" this layout from one we did at a CTMH meeting we had in Calgary a couple months ago. This is my favorite Florence layout :)
The cards we made are the Banner cards.
I was inspired by fellow CTMH consultant Nancy Ball. Nancy is soooo creative and she made some cards similar to these for a card swap at convention in 2015.
I love these cards because once you have cut up all your B&T paper for 3 layouts, these cards are perfect for using up your scraps!!
The August Card workshop was such a fun one!! I LOVE DISNEY! So these cards make me so happy! I was inspired by fellow CTMH Consultant Debbie Wynn. When I saw her Disney themed cards I knew I had to make some! and then do a workshop on them :)
I just can't tell you how much I love these cards!
If you have any questions about supplies/stamp sets used OR if you would like to host your own workshop for you and your friends to make your own Mickey Cards, email me @
Last nights workshop was a busy one! It included a double paged layout and 2 cards.
We used the watercolor paints to "splatter" the background of the base pages and then we used the watercolor paper to paint, stamp and cut out our butterflies.
The workshop also included the stamp set to take home :)
This months Card Workshop used the Georgie bulk B&T paper and the stamp sets "For Every Occasion" and "Words of Comfort". We created 6 cards (3 styles; 2 of each) and all the patterns are from the book Wishes (available through Close To My Heart).
What do you get when you have some Georgie B&T paper, a lot of chocolate cardstock, tin foil and a super cute chocolate stamp set from the past?
Chocolate Bar Cards!!
These cards were from our card club last month and were a lot more work than they appeared.
Those girls had to work hard for their cards! Each piece of "chocolate" had to be cut, distressed with re inker and attached with 3D tape, but they were worth the time and effort :)
February's Scrapbook layout workshop was the Dream Pop Workshop. This is a paper pack that came out quite a while ago. I don't remember when, but I'm guessing a couple years ago. So now you know how long I will hang onto these paper packs. just waiting for the mood to strike ;)
There were 2 layouts this month and here they are:
